Larry J. Moray, DDS, MS
Dr. Moray brings a unique perspective to his practice. His life philosophy has been to enjoy the richness of life’s many experiences, and this permeates all his endeavors. Dr. Moray moved to Chapel Hill in 1979, entering a Ph.D. program in neurobiology.
He later completed dental training at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Dentistry and spent one year in a hospital dental residency in Hampton, Virginia. Dr. Moray taught at the VCU/MCV School of Dentistry and managed the hospital dental clinic at MCV Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia from 1991 to 1994.
Following graduation from his orthodontic residency at UNC in 1997, Dr. Moray opened our first office at Preston Corners. Key Dental Management Solutions (KDMS) has grown tremendously under his guidance and our team of dental professionals now serves 14 communities throughout North Carolina.

Chief Executive Officer
Demias Pegues, MBA
Mr. Pegues joined Key Dental Management Solutions (KDMS) in late February 2023 as COO. In January 2024, after helping the team achieve a successful year, he was promoted to CEO. Before joining KDMS, Mr. Pegues served as COO and SVP Ops for two larger DSOs, including one that had over 225 locations across 15 states. Mr. Pegues believes that the role of a DSO is to support the Doctors and practice teams so that they can focus on taking care of patients.
Mr. Pegues has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University. Along with his wife of over 30 years, Mr. Pegues has raised three wonderful children. They are now empty nesters and live with their dog, Velvet. Their dog is a Dachshund-Yorkie mix, so she is a Dorkie. In his free time, Mr. Pegues enjoys watching/playing/attending sporting events, traveling with family, making time to do nothing or to do whatever, and entertaining family and friends. Mr. Pegues also enjoys being kind to people; it spreads good cheer while energizing his soul.
Clinical Director
Dr. Guillermo Matta
Dr. Guillermo Matta is an Orthodontist from Guatemala where he practiced for 12 years and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Guatemalan Association of Orthodontists. He decided to migrate to the US where he joined MyOrthodontistNC in 2016 and then Key Dental Management Solutions in 2017. Previously serving as Director of Quality Assurance, Dr. Matta was promoted to Clinical Director in 2024. Dr. Matta believes that an Orthodontist should have high patient care standards, which are achieved by implementing efficient standard operating procedures in the practice and improving constantly with the most updated industry trends.
Dr. Matta has been married for more than 17 years and has been blessed with twins, a boy and a girl. His most recent addition to the family is Toto, a Yorkie, who is very spoiled by everyone in the family!
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family traveling, and enjoying great restaurants.
Director of Operations
Lyndsay Luca
Lyndsay Luca grew up in Georgia and attended the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She spent a decade in the medical field before moving to North Carolina, a move inspired by her husband’s career.
In North Carolina, Lyndsay transitioned into the dental industry and began working with Key Dental Management Solutions (KDMS) in 2012 as the Director of Operations. Over the past decade, she has been instrumental in streamlining operations and enhancing the office’s productivity.
Lyndsay is dedicated to her family, with a husband and a daughter who attends UNC Chapel Hill. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially fishing, and is passionate about discovering great restaurants, enjoying live music, and traveling.
Director of Human Resources
Sinae Santillo
Sinae Santillo is dedicated to her Director of Human Resources role at Key Dental Management Solutions (KDMS), where she has been a part of the team since 2007. Her commitment stems from a deep passion for fostering a positive work environment and supporting the growth and development of her colleagues.
Before joining KDMS, Sinae worked for a law firm in Georgetown. She decided to move back to North Carolina, where she had earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at UNC-Chapel Hill. Familiar with Chapel Hill’s excellent schools and vibrant Tar Heels community, she knew it would be an ideal place for her family.
Outside of work, Sinae is a passionate cook who enjoys creating diverse cuisines with her husband, Giancarlo, and their twins, Isabella and Matteo. A dedicated musician, she loves playing the piano and singing, and she is actively involved in her church choir on Sundays. An avid reader, Sinae is known to devour books in one sitting. She is also a birder and nature enthusiast, relishing her time outdoors. Adventurous at heart, Sinae loves to travel and explore new destinations with her family.
Director of Finance
Susan Gayton
Susan Gayton is a seasoned Director of Finance, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, she excels in managing financial operations and driving organizational growth.
Born in Seoul, Korea, and having lived across the United States, Susan has a unique and diverse background. This global perspective has greatly influenced her professional and personal life, instilling in her a deep appreciation for different cultures and ways of life.
Susan’s professional journey is marked by her diverse experience in non-profits, start-ups, for-profits, and her own consulting company. This breadth of experience has equipped her with a unique perspective and a versatile skill set, enabling her to navigate and thrive in various business environments.
Her passion for finance began early; she knew in the 7th grade that she wanted to be an accountant and began taking college classes while still in high school. Her dedication paid off as she graduated in just three years with a BS in Accounting.
Beyond her professional achievements, Susan has a deep passion for travel, immersing herself in diverse cultures, and whole-self wellness. She believes that exploring new places and understanding different ways of life enriches her perspective and fuels her creativity. A true foodie at heart, Susan expresses her love through culinary experiences, whether trying new recipes or savoring local delicacies during her travels. This love for cultures, travel, and food is something she has proudly passed down to her three children, sharing with them the beauty and diversity of the world.
Sr. Marketing Manager
Trevor Kelly
Trevor is a seasoned professional with a diverse background that spans continents and industries. From 2005 to 2012, Trevor lived in Tokyo, Japan, and Hong Kong, gaining valuable international experience.
In his career, Trevor has excelled in marketing roles, most recently as a Marketing Manager for a prominent physical therapy company based in Mountain View, CA. His strategic insights and creative approach significantly contributed to the company’s growth and market presence. Trevor joined Key Dental Management Solutions (KDMS) in May of 2023 as a mid-level marketing manager and soon after was promoted to Sr. Marketing Manager.
Relocating from California to North Carolina in support of his wife’s career with Apple, Trevor now resides in Holly Springs, where he recently purchased a home for their growing family. Trevor’s family includes his wife, Madeline, their son, James (born February 2024), and their two beloved Siberian huskies, Scarlett and Hudson.
With a passion for marketing, a knack for strategic thinking, and a commitment to family, Trevor continues to bring his expertise and enthusiasm to every endeavor he undertakes.
